HOW DO I CHOOSE BETWEEN MARBLE AND GRANITE?

Marble gives softer, more luxurious veining but is more porous, so it wants sealing and some care around acids and heat. Granite is harder, more heat and scratch resistant and lower maintenance, which suits busy kitchens. If you love the marble look but want more toughness, quartzite or dolomite are worth seeing in the flesh.

DO YOU FABRICATE AND INSTALL BENCHTOPS?

No. We supply the slab and connect you with a trusted, approved stonemason partner who templates, fabricates and installs. That way you get expert material advice and pricing from our team, and specialist fabrication from the right trade. We do not do cutting, cut-outs or installation in house.

IS ENGINEERED STONE STILL AVAILABLE IN AUSTRALIA?

Engineered stone containing crystalline silica was banned from manufacture and installation nationally from 1 July 2024. We focus on natural stone and offer crystalline-silica-free quartz, so you can get a durable engineered look without the banned material.

DO YOU SELL BENCHTOP STONE TO THE PUBLIC?

Yes. We supply builders, designers and stonemasons, and we are open to the public with the same wholesale pricing. You do not need a trade account or an appointment. Walk in, choose your slab and take the wholesale price on it.

CAN I SEE THE EXACT SLAB BEFORE I COMMIT?

Yes, and we recommend it. Natural stone varies piece to piece, so viewing full slabs in the Campbellfield warehouse lets you pick the exact veining and colour rather than approving a small sample. The slab you choose is the slab your benchtop is cut from.

WHAT IS A JUMBO PORCELAIN SLAB?

A large format porcelain slab up to 3600 by 1800mm. The extra size means fewer joins on a long run or a big island, and porcelain is highly durable and low maintenance. It is one of our fastest growing benchtop options. Ask us whether it suits your layout.

A kitchen benchtop is the hardest working surface in the home, so the piece of stone matters as much as the material. Natural stone moves in colour and veining from slab to slab, and a benchtop is large enough that the difference shows. Choosing from a small sample leaves the final look to chance.

Because we hold benchtop slabs in stock across a large Campbellfield warehouse, you walk the floor, compare full slabs and reserve the exact piece that becomes your bench. That removes the usual uncertainty around veining, colour and batch. It also means most projects are not waiting months on an overseas order, because the stock is already here.

We sell to homeowners, builders, designers and stonemasons, and we are open to the public with wholesale pricing. Premium stone does not have to carry a premium markup, and you do not need a trade account or an appointment to choose.
