Slip resistance depends on the stone, finish and application. Textured, tumbled, brushed or sandblasted finishes generally provide better grip for wet areas than polished surfaces. Our team can help you select a suitable finish, but final compliance should be confirmed by your builder or installer.

CAN I ORDER SMALL QUANTITIES FOR A FEATURE WALL?

Yes. Many of our stone tiles are available by the box, subject to stock availability and any applicable minimum order quantities. We also offer offcuts and smaller pieces for feature walls, vanities and other custom projects.

Choosing the Right Bathroom Tiles

The best tile for a bathroom depends on where it is going, how wet that surface gets, and how much upkeep you want. Our team walks through it before you buy.

Slip resistance. Floors need more grip than walls, and shower floors need more again. Textured and tumbled finishes can help improve traction. Ask us for the verified slip rating of any tile you are considering.

Sealing. Natural stone bathroom tiles are porous, so marble, travertine and limestone need sealing to resist water and staining. Porcelain does not. We explain what your chosen tile needs and how often.

Finish. A honed finish is matt and less reflective, which suits floors. Polished reads more luxury on a wall but shows water marks more readily.

Size and layout. Larger tiles mean fewer grout lines and a calmer look, but need a flatter substrate. Small formats suit shower bases and curved surfaces.

Quantity. Always allow extra for cuts and breakages, and buy the whole job in one batch so the shade matches. Tell us your room size and we will work out the square metres with you.
